Why Awaya exists
Planning a trip means moving between airline sites, hotel tabs, loyalty accounts, maps, confirmation emails and group chats. Each tool can answer a narrow question. Very few remember what matters to you across all of them.
Awaya starts from a different premise: the unit of planning is the trip, not the booking. Tell it what you are considering, what you value and which points you have. It can then compare the pieces in context and explain the trade-offs in plain language.
The best redemption is not automatically the best trip.
What guides the product
Awaya does not assume points must be used. A reward seat with a long connection, high surcharges or restrictive conditions may be worse than a simple cash fare. The product is designed to compare the real alternatives, not celebrate redemption for its own sake.
What Awaya does today
Awaya is in early access. The first release helps people describe a trip in iMessage, consider flight and stay options, and bring loyalty balances into the decision. Direct booking and proactive trip suggestions are in development.
Examples on this site are illustrative or date-stamped. Reward availability, program rules, taxes and cash fares can change, so any live decision needs a current check with the relevant provider.
How we think about points
Our public points-versus-cash method explains the calculation and the judgement around it. The reward-seat checklist covers the questions to ask before transferring points or confirming a booking.
